| from Journalist (NYC) Tuesday, June 28, 2005 - 09:55 (Agree/Disagree?) Tess, I work for a prominent magazine in New York, and we would like to run a story about COG, including excerpts from the Davidito Book. My telephone number is 212 420-5741, and I would very much like to speak with you or anyone who may have access to the book. Thanks very much. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | | | | | From roxal Wednesday, June 29, 2005, 05:54 (Agree/Disagree?) I have all the respect I need to have for people no longer here. I didn't dishonor him by putting a link to a site that is found on movingon.org many times. I just think that the more this story gets out into the public the more it's going to help get the justice we all need. And unfortunately, proof is needed in order to convince the public and authorities. She’s a journalist and she would have gotten it anyways. Plus it’s a public website; I’m not the administrator, so leave me out of it. I’m sure he didn’t want his story to die with him. Ricky, rest in peace. GRHS?(reply to this comment) |
| | | | From monger Tuesday, June 28, 2005, 20:40 (Agree/Disagree?) The editor who originally posted that article on xfamily.org (Craven de Kere) addressed this issue in the past, as follows: ----- I thought of the embarassment factor when I was putting that page online (pulled from another online posting of it). Thing is, Ricky was past embarassment, everyone who he knew had known all of that, it was published since he was a kid. He wanted it known for redress and one of the common excuses that his mother used in refusing to say anything about the abuses was personal privacy and embarassment. I'm sure he would want the story told, as long as it was to show it was wrong, and not to advocate it. -----(reply to this comment) |
| | From ginger52 Tuesday, June 28, 2005, 11:37 (Agree/Disagree?) I just read through the the scanned articles of the Davidito book. I felt physically sick and wanted to cry after reading that. It's been a while since I thought about all that stuff that went on and reading this just brought it all back, it made me feel so sad for Davidito and the digusting, sickening, shit he had to be a part of and go through. How could someone be as sick as that. It's crazy though how everyone of us and our parents used to read that and think nothing of it (some even following suit). I can't wait for something to happen to Zerby and the clan!!!!! How could you have a come back for that??? It's written out child abuse, pornography and it goes on and on....(reply to this comment) |
| | from Jim LaMattery Wednesday, April 06, 2005 - 07:04 (Agree/Disagree?) That copy should be in the hands of the FBI! We are collecting information from the several places where these were printed, and anyone whom we have not yet contacted, and who has possession of the book, needs to contact me immediately. The highest and best use of it is to aid in the criminal investigation into TF. This is not a "novelty" item, and should be treated as evidence. Please contact me asap.-Thanks-(619) 972-3051 (reply to this comment)
| | | from ford Wednesday, April 06, 2005 - 06:13 (Agree/Disagree?) I have tried numerous times to get registered. Not accepting my e-mail. Tess, I would like to puchase a book on "Davidito". I am always interested in educating myself, and knowing about all that goes on around me in the world. Of course I grew up in the 60's, and their free love style. Also in many ways sheltered. BB 2/5/49 Female USA So please Tess, get in touch with me. Aleta Ford aleta.ford@swagelok.com (reply to this comment)
| | | From frmrjoyish Wednesday, April 06, 2005, 16:35 (Agree/Disagree?) Ugh, right! This could be anyone! Who is this "ford" who thinks such a book is some sort of novelty to be sold to the highest bidding amatuer? This could be some family member trying to take a full unedited copy out of circulation, or it could just be your run of the mill pedophile trying to get his rocks off! Either way I find this comment offensive and at the very least inappropriate. This book is what caused the abuse so many of us suffered. It needs to be treated with the seriousness it deserves. This isn't ebay for crying out loud!(reply to this comment) |
| | From roughneck Wednesday, April 06, 2005, 21:25 (Agree/Disagree?) You know, it would rather seem that this "ford" person is possibly not aware of the explicit content of the Dito book. Please bear in mind, this site's web address has been read by millions of people all over the world. I say it's to be expected that there is outside interest in our little exer online community. A person who was never a member very well might not be aware that the Dito book contains material that it is illegal to possess in the US. If they did, chances are they wouldn't be quite so free with their personal details on a public website. Anyway! All that windbagging to say, let's not jump to the worst conclusions first off. :)(reply to this comment) |
| | From Cult Surfer Wednesday, April 06, 2005, 09:28 (Agree/Disagree?) Who is "ford". The last thing anyone should do is send the Dito book to an uncredible source just for their own "academic" purposes. It's time for the authorities to have as much information as possible, some of us have worked hard on giving them all our information while others haven't. Although xerox copies are nice, the feds have to confirm the validity of the book by viewing the originals. (reply to this comment) |
| | | | From Cult Surfer Wednesday, April 06, 2005, 13:05 (Agree/Disagree?) Yep, was a "vs" for a bit, was a "toilet cleaner" for years, was a "handyman" and "Busker" for a while, all of which haven't done crap for my resume. Don't have rich relatives, absolutely love San Diego, worked hard for my job and harder to be rich someday... and I'm meaner now than ever. Still, what the hell does this have to do with giving the Dito book out to the highest bidder? And what's not nice about sending it to the Feds? Make this as personal as you want, still I'm NOT the one trying to protect TF.(reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | | | | | from Craven de Kere Thursday, January 20, 2005 - 23:02 (Agree/Disagree?)
