Getting Real : This Site Sucks
Mooving On?-- I doubt it! | from movingunder - Thursday, July 17, 2003 accessed 1989 times The more you know -- the more you find out that you don't know shit? I have not had the opportunity to read every single article on this site. But my feeling is that for the most part “moving on” (although a clever name for such a site) term disguises what should be obvious---if you are on this site chances are that you have NOT “moved on” but, that you are likewise haunted by your past. I say – fuck the family and fuck the system – they both suck! The only thing we have in common here is that we all got screwed by the same .org By the way Jules, the fact .org was chosen and not. Com. Info .biz .net etc. I doubt that is a coincidence, it gives away how institutionalize you are, if you are not part of one – you just have to create one-ha!. I’m not saying you had the wrong intentions. And then again what are you’re real intentions “helping the lost and in need” what an admirable cause, especially when you consider how people are jumping from the fire into the frying pan. Did you ever think of what would have become of the family, had no one in the “system” ever cared to “help” us, chances are that the family would have never existed. But our past should be more than a good example that the way to hell is paved with “good intentions”. I bet even “Maria” started out with “good” intentions, only to literally become a blind leading the blind into the pit. Then there are articles titled “character assassination no more” (you have got to be kidding!), one can hardly take a piss on this site with out someone trying to discredit you. Not to mention those that under some “divine inspiration” are giving away the "insite" of how I “so wrongfully” commented on my own articles just to attract attention – haven’t you ever heard of ADVERTISEMENT---companies wouldn’t care to spend millions of dollars on it if doesn’t work. If you have nothing to hide Pumpous John (or should I call you PumpshitJohn) why don’t you give us you’re your real name and address? What are you us scared of? – that some one might come uncover that ass of yours and give you some good whipping. And as for the rest of you faithful supporters of Jules “cause”, I have a joke for you. Knock! Knock! Who is this? Go Fuck yourselves. |

Dear Mr. Movingunder, The level of abuse was not equally distributed within the group, and therefore it's natural for some people to have a harder time adapting to society. You can accept JJT, endtime prophecy and homeschooling as your parent's alternative lifestyle. But some people were subject to abuse at a much high level, be it physical, sexual, psychological. In some cases, people that leave have no family (out of TF) to turn to, never met their dad, can't speak their native language, don't know their countries history, and don't even know where to start. Some of us have a crime record from our rebellious days, are on drugs, had kids too young. Well, just had it plain rough. We should let such people vent. I have a decent paying job, but I pretty much got this job through pure chance. In the west, it's probably a lot easier to be accepted for having an odd past. In my country you state your Jr. High school on your resume. English is not one of our official languages. I can tell you from 1st hand experience, a national who had dissappeared from the grid (no residence record), has no school record, and does not speak the local tongue has a very slim chance of being employed. I know a lot of us work nights, sometimes dancing or bouncing, due to the fact that we simply can't get any other job. It is clear that due to TF's beliefs regarding the endtime, we were not given the education we needed to take any other path in life. Knowing how to make a fall-out shelter, or how to snare little creatures and boil frog legs isn't helping me at all. I reckon that was a ploy to make it hard for us to leave. Anyone who left was designed to fail. They'd come crawling back saying the world was a cold place. Well no more. We'd rather face the wind, and grasp opportunities as they come, than masturbate to a dead carpenter. We all have every right to bitch and moan. And although I do bitch and moan here, I go to work 6 days a week, and perform the best. Oh yes, tough life made my resolve and hunger for bucks and success a lot tougher. PS. Suggest you read some joke books so you know how to tell knock knock jokes. (reply to this comment)

| from Estie Saturday, July 26, 2003 - 22:27 (Agree/Disagree?) I agree with you on some points ( The family sucks & the system does too), but I understand the need for this site, the "moving on" is surely a process that we have to deal with everyday. Wether you read stuff on this site or not. It's not easy for any of us & I don't see the need to get on eachothers cases about how each of us deal with it all. (reply to this comment)
| from PompousJohn Tuesday, July 22, 2003 - 09:57 (Agree/Disagree?) I have in the past posted my home and cel phone #'s, with the intent that anyone contemplating suicide could reach me to talk about it. (In your case I'd say go ahead and jump, so far the only phone calls I got were from Jules, who unfortunately was NOT contemplating suicide) I have also posted pictures of myself and my wife, (which I subsequently removed when some of the bottom-feeders here mistakenly deemed themselves worthy to comment on my divine likeness) also my personal email is posted somewhere on here, which contains my legal name, and also the name of the company I work for. Since I live in a small country it wouldn't be hard to find me using the name of my company. Most of the people I care about know who I am, and most people who care about me can find out with very little trouble. My son's mother will likely forward you personal emails I have sent her if you ask, and if you have any difficulty reaching her check with Lauren and her dear friend Jules, they likely still have copies. Really all that remains for me to be totally bereft of any privacy at all is to post some nude pictures of myself on this site as well. Is that what you want? If you can assure me there is a good chance this will finally drive you to take the pills/cut your wrist/throw yourself off the edge/pull the trigger etc. then maybe we can arrange something. | From Jules Tuesday, July 22, 2003, 10:11 (Agree/Disagree?) Now that is childish PJ. You know very well that I never advocated anyone posting personal information about themselves here. In fact I went to great lengths when setting up the site to prevent this. It's not safe or smart to post your phone number or any personally identifiable information anywhere on the internet, let alone a site dealing with such controversial issues. I've said that again and again and if you chose to post information despite all that then that was your choice. Your issues with your son's mother's family are things you need to deal with with them, and kindly leave me out of it. (reply to this comment) |
| | from Jules Tuesday, July 22, 2003 - 07:51 (Agree/Disagree?) You said: "one can hardly take a piss on this site with out someone trying to discredit you". Please do not urinate on the web site. You will do a lot of damage to your computer, and it's a rather disgusting habit. If you check http://movingon.com, http://movingon.net etc. you will see that those domain names are already registered to someone else. (reply to this comment)
| from mex Monday, July 21, 2003 - 23:50 (Agree/Disagree?) Why thank you I just did. You are the same asshole that posted the “good guys” article. Who the fuck do you have a beef with? Jules? This site? There was another asshole here called Deryn came here thinking he was hot shit turns out he was only full of it, very much like yourself. How pathetic and starved for attention are you that you have to reply to you own article. “It is called advertisement, if multimillion dollar companies do it why cant I?” Well you should fire your advertiser, he sucks ass. You should also find a new product to sell this bullshit you are peddling now is about as appealing as the bitch who is slinging mud at PJ. Piss off we don’t care for your kind. | | | from Tim R Monday, July 21, 2003 - 22:50 (Agree/Disagree?) Every couple of months some wise guy shows up to point out that: "For a site called 'MovingOn', you sure haven't 'MovedOn' yet" Let me point out the obvious: If you are "MovingOn" then you haven't "MovedOn" yet, likewise if you HAVE "MovedOn", then by definition you aren't "MovingOn" any more, are you? The title of this site implies a work in progress, like many of us. I think it's different for the people who left when they were younger, for them the Family represents their childhood, and they should just leave it behind, for those of us who got out later it's different. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they're haunted by their past. Also, before you attempt to satirize PJ's name, you really should go to the Trailer Park and read some of Charity's work on the subject, I think we can all agree that she's set the high water mark in that department. ;-) (P.S. Any good "Knock, Knock" joke should have a pause between the response and the punch line, you need to give us time for the: "Go Fu who?" before you throw in the hook.) (reply to this comment)
