Getting Real : This Site Sucks
Alf, Alf, Who the Fuck is Alf??? And as for JoeH!!! | from Tazy - Thursday, July 03, 2003 accessed 2627 times I don’t know about anyone else on this website, but I’m getting a little sick and tired of the condescending, patronising attitude of certain members here. Is it just me or are there others out there who agree that whippersnappers like Alf – who models himself as being the new David Berg (as if that wasn’t bad enough) and Joe H – who can’t have a positive view on anything in life and spouts bullshit constantly, ought to keep their mouths shut and stop giving their opinions about things that have nothing to do with them and bringing the whole feeling of this website down? |

| from Joe H Monday, July 07, 2003 - 13:00 (Agree/Disagree?) Don't you have to be at least 95 years old to use the term "whippersnapper"? I have positive views about lots of things, especially myself, and one man's "bullshit" is another's gospel, so why don't YOU cheer up? Smile, you'll live longer. (reply to this comment)
| | | From vixen Wednesday, September 21, 2005, 13:08 (Agree/Disagree?) Joe hasn't posted here for months, so your diatribe seems rather pointless. And, if he were indeed frequenting this site, he'd undoubtedly have gained great pleasure from pointing out the many glaringly obvious errors in this post - an exercise that I, unfortunately, haven't the time to carry out. But just in case you'd welcome the constructive criticism, here's a list of some areas to consider if you decide to post again: - Capital letters
- Punctuation
- Spelling
Cheers! :-) (reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | from lacy Sunday, July 06, 2003 - 13:45 (Agree/Disagree?) I am sorry but I just have to add my two cents. I do not get on this site often as there is only so much ranting I can take at a time but I do get on enough to know that Joe H and anthony and I will not forget Pompous John are some of the only people I even consider reading, or giving the time of day. - thank God at least a few of us came out able to actually express our selves with a bit of intellect!! Why ask them to calm down? Why do people want them to be quiet? I think if anything they deserve a bit more positive recognition-At least they know what they are about and can type properly. | from thepersoniamnow Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 17:46 (Agree/Disagree?) Lets see, theres someone who wants Joe and Alf to shut the fuck up, and theres others telling her to shut the fuck up because they don't like it when someone tells another to shut the fuck up.... heheheh...its all good! I'm with the author on this one, just to be opposing. (reply to this comment)
| from Tazy Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 11:59 (Agree/Disagree?) Okay people, let's get one thing straight right now! Yes, I was in the Family, no, I was not abused but had to live the hell of watching my younger siblings being abused by self-righteous, masochistic paedophiles disguised as 'home shepherds', I was a coward who thought it best to just shut up, keep quiet and live by the rules so as not to be pointed out for some of the same. I'm angry and upset at myself because I feel like I failed my brothers and sisters. I am sorry if I have misjudged Alf (apologies to you bro), I have read only a couple of his articles and the whole 'I love you my children' was what set me off on one as I have heard it so many times from so many people whom I trusted at first but then turned out to be complete monsters. I have gotten on with my life and have been fairly happy - whose life isn't full of ups and downs! Mex - no comment! (reply to this comment)
| | | From Tazy Friday, July 04, 2003, 03:51 (Agree/Disagree?) The top GN on my reading lists while in TF was always 'Foolishness', I think my sense of humour is a little stunted as I was not allowed to develop it, especially being as I seemed to always be the 'bellweather' in any home I was in, always the oldest, had to 'set an example', 'be responsible', I never really got to be the kid I was, (except when I was at The Manor and the NAS home in England,) the fact that my parents were home shepherds most of the time didn't help either. I still don't get TF/exFam sense of humour but I'm pretty popular with my friends and collegues and am able to appreciate their sense of humour and have developed a rather tentative, dry one myself.(reply to this comment) |
| | | | From Tazy Friday, July 11, 2003, 03:49 (Agree/Disagree?) Emmanuel & Sara or later on when my parents divorced, James & Sara, I don't think we've met but then again I've forgotten a lot, I remember places I lived but I don't always remember the people that were there, it was easier for me not to get too close to people so I didn't form many real strong attachments - you many not know me but you may remember one or more of my brothers or sisters as we hardly ever lived in the same house together. Email me on indigotazy2003@yahoo.co.uk if you want to have a chat.(reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | From PompousJohn Thursday, July 03, 2003, 12:49 (Agree/Disagree?) Yeah, shutting up is overrated. The best thing about the internet is you can mouth off to your hearts content with little chance of tangible reprisals. I can't tell if you mean "sadistic" or "misogynistic" when you say "masochistic" but I get your point. Don’t be so angry with yourself. Just lovingly discipline yourself and promise yourself to do better next time. I’m sure yourself will forgive yourself and you both can move on. Seriously though, few of us spoke up the way we feel we should have in the group, speaking up more or sooner than we did would have only gotten us silenced or thrown out, and what help could we have been to our siblings then? I’m sure you were as supportive as possible, considering the countless delusions you were no doubt operating under. (reply to this comment) |
| | From Tazy Friday, July 11, 2003, 04:11 (Agree/Disagree?) I was there for my family as much as possible, unfortunatly most of the time we wern't living in the same homes and a lot of times messages from my parents were withheld from me - there was one time when I was partnering for a driver (don't remember who he was) and we went to one home delivering provisioning (begger-food), I knew my sister was living there, I asked if I could speak to her, they said she was in isolation but that I could leave a message for her and they'd be sure she gets it (bollocks), I wrote down a quick message telling her I had visited and that I was thinking about her and missing her, a few weeks later when I saw her I asked her if she got my message and she said she hadn't heard from anyone in our family in months. The one good thing that came out of it all was the fact that once we left we became very close, all my brothers, sisters and I and they know that if they have ANY problems at all that they can come to me which they do frequently and I'm pleased that the years we spent apart doesn't change the fact that when it comes down to it, blood is thicker than water and no one knows you or your family better than you do and no one has the right to tell you how you should be living your life. My family is very important to me and I'm glad I can be there for them now.(reply to this comment) |
| | from PompousJohn Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 11:36 (Agree/Disagree?) I find it highly offensive that you would complain about condescending people without including me in your list of offenders. I look down on others from an even higher pedestal than Alf's, and unlike Joe I don't pretend not to. If you were a bit more perceptive though, you might see the following: 1) Alf is never serious about anything, not even about being condescending. All he's looking for is a laugh. 2) Joe is destined to wear either a lab coat or a straight-jacket for the rest of his life, or maybe both. 3) Being obnoxious and condescending is therapeutic for us, being a "teen" or a "Jett" in TF was like living under a microscope, and we've come to equate having the freedom to be disapproving and condescending of others with success, since it was something our "leaders" had and we didn't. | | | | | | | | | | | from mex Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 11:20 (Agree/Disagree?) who the fuck is tazy? i guess we should all model ourselves after you? piss off, be and let be, or just fuck off, enough with the censorship, if you dont like what is being said MOVE ON!! (reply to this comment)
| | | from frmrjoyish Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 09:12 (Agree/Disagree?) Personally, I think its far more interesting when people post differing opinions. Even if their opinions differ from mine! It makes for much more interesting reading! Just because someone is having a bad day and wants to post something a little off the wall, it's not going to ruin my day! See, the difference between being in a cult and being in the real world is the ability to have an opinion or a mind of your own even if its a bit different or even offensive. If you don't agree with a comment, well, say so! If someone makes a smartass remark directly to you, well, make one right back! Personally, if someone can debate intelligently (or sometimes maybe not so intelligently if I'm in the mood) with me then I respect that even if they don't agree with me! Someone not agreeing with my opinion is not high on my list of things that will ruin my day! The other day I just got my first thumbs down on a comment I made about telling everyone to lighten up! (Although, the stupid idiots who disagreed with me can go to hell for all I care, no, it didn't bother me one little teeny tiny bit!!! :)!!) Just kidding...........lighten up already!!!!!!!!! | from Sir Rantalot Thursday, July 03, 2003 - 09:06 (Agree/Disagree?) If you haven't gotten it yet Alf is just kidding, and he does a mighty good job of it. Alf is one of our spiritual leaders, respect him. JoeH is sexually frustrated and is having problems coming to terms with his sexuality, bestialism isn't really that accepted in most parts. He longs to go live in the australian outback, where he finally will be accepted for who he is, but we can't always do what we want. He vents such frustration on this site. I'm praying that Joe can one day find a loving sheep that will satisfy his needs, as well as keep him intellectually challenged. My heart & prayers go out to you JoeH, and remember everyone here fully respects & admires your lifestyle choices, don't let old family hang-ups make you feel guilty. (reply to this comment)
| | | From Sir Rantalot Thursday, July 10, 2003, 06:50 (Agree/Disagree?) Yes, so true, I propose a media smear campaign against all those conservative, heterosexual bible-belt farmers who disriminate on the basis of sexual preferences. Maybe Jules' sefe passage foundation could help financially towards this campaign. I DEMAND THE RIGHT TO SCREW PHARMANIMALS!! yes, it's all along the lines of being an individual... :) God I love sarcasm...Nothing personal though. best of luck with your studies Joe, show those TF morons where system education will get you!(reply to this comment) |
