Getting Real : Metalmania
CAN YOU AFFORD TO MISS THIS? I THINK THE FUCK NOT! | from xolox - Thursday, January 13, 2005 accessed 1526 times http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Sleep_Terror/ THEY WILL BE IN SAN DIEGO IN FEB. http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Sleep_Terror/ Sleep Terror was created by Luke Jaeger in 2002. After putting out several demos under different names (Eviscerated Taco and Binge), the final name was decided on and a full-length released. Currently a one-man project,(NOT ANYMORE, SICKEST DRUMMER DAVE MCGRAW HAS JOINED TO TERRORIZE) Sleep Terror is an assaultive blend of brutal death/grind/jazz/thrash/surf/hardcore/funk/world and everything in between. New material is currently being written for the upcoming lp to be released sometime within 2003. Expect the most brutal recording known to the flawed species of mankind |

| from xolox Thursday, January 13, 2005 - 17:48 (Agree/Disagree?) The project took a Grinding turn in 2004, when Dave and Luke made thier project public. Bassist for Vile has asked to be on the recording... we'll see how that pans out. (luke's ego) Sleep Terror rehearses at Studio Seven, and even play an occasional gig on the stage next door. (to those concerned: bar upstairs overlooking, now serves liquor). As well as venues like The Graceland, Central, and others. This is a sick two man show, with an eye out for the right bassist. (and guitarist?) (reply to this comment)
| from JudasChrist Thursday, January 13, 2005 - 15:47 (Agree/Disagree?) Reminds me of Fredrik Thordendal a bit (Main Guitarist for Meshuggah). I of course reside in SD and predominately do Metal/Rock reviiews for the magazine I work for. www.sdmusicmatters.com We get bands from Washington/Oregon and some from Vegas sometimes. Thanks for the info, quite a nice find. (reply to this comment)
