I had all of Satyricon`s stuff except for "Dark Medival Times". Most MEtal lovers would have probably heard it but if you haven't and if you like Black Metal you should defintely buy it. Its like Burzum but more intelligent and should be listened once the whole record through as it pretty much takes you on a fucking dark journey. Buy it! (reply to this comment)

| From JudasChrist Sunday, September 21, 2003, 13:51 (Agree/Disagree?) Emperor R simply the best. People talk of Opeth, Cradle.., Isis etc.(all good bands), however Emperor will always RULE the extreme. Ur in Switzerland eh? Must have heard of a band called Requiem?! From there. GOOD Technical/Melodic (due 2 superb riffage), Death Metal. Have Black Metal influences throughout. I Am the Master Of ALL Metal and musical knowledge (most), and will turn U people on2 new stuff. U must Know Apotheosis? Apotheosis (Malta) was born in late '93. Practical in the areas of ambient electronic music and heavily impressed by the intense sound and atmosphere of Black Metal of the early 90s, the creator and sole member of the project, Sauron, embarked on a quest to blend these two dimensions of music. 'Farthest From the Sun' consists of four songs (with a total running time of over 50 minutes), two of them reworked tracks from the 97 promo. Musically the present sound of Apotheosis offers a unique blend of Thrash, Epic and Symphonic Black Metal. --JudasChrist... (reply to this comment) |
| | From nat Sunday, September 21, 2003, 18:26 (Agree/Disagree?) yeah got the album...used to like it more than now..i do know requiem. Hmm..dont know how the metal scene is wherever u are. | | From JudasChrist Sunday, September 21, 2003, 21:59 (Agree/Disagree?) "Visions From....." is great album. Superb. Yeah, I like Vintersorg. (very BorknagarIsh..Of course) I'm In San Diego. hahahaha. Metal in America? Whatta' laugh compared 2 Europe. Maybe in certain areas, the scene is better (Florida, that's were all the American Death comes from), speaking Of American Death. NILE(North Carolina, who knew that Sate could produce quality like NILE other Than Hootie and the BlowJob?) is the King Of American Death Metal and They have Deicide and Morbid Angel by FAAAR (both from Florida). Pennsylvania get's a decent amount of Metal bands because the labels (Candlelight, Relapse and Others), have offices there. Immortal, Darkthrone, Havayoth, Setherial, Naglfar and Even a few American bands: Aggaloch, Absu (Goddamn, that name is SOOO Cold and Evil when said, REEEEEAAALY Slowly! Love IT!!!), R On My Top Lists, of course w/ Emperor, Zyklon, Yattering and Others. I'm glad there is another that shares in my hatred for "Nu-Shit", titled so as it is NOT worthy of the Metal title. Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and SHIT like that R a disgrace 2 people who use musical equipment, and to this planet Earth. (Am Gonna' see Deicide in town soon. I get FREE passes 2 Metal shows here, as FEW as there R. Apart from my regular job, I represent a few record companies. Am also in a band and will possibly manage another)....METAL!!!!!!!!! ON!!!!!!!!!!! --JudasChrist...(reply to this comment) |
