Getting Real : Metalmania
To EVERYONE that Suffered Abuse. (The TEXT IS here!) | from JudasChrist - Sunday, August 24, 2003 accessed 1898 times But I say this...Darkane is a Heavy band from Sweden. You who don't make heavy metal a part of Ur life, should!!! Darkane have suffered much like we (the abused) have, I shall give U lyrics 2 some of their songs. It will be a sure way 2 let off steam and anger! I got involved in the HEAVY scene because I LIKE IT, I FUCKING LOVE IT and WILL TILL I DIE and WHEN I do ..."....Lay Thorns On My Grave." (2 Quote my FAVORITE BAND, Emperor)! If Meta NOt because I was an angry guy, I just now realise that MANY of the bands I LOVE speak from THEIR experiences as well as ours! MAny ask me why they scream and all...I say it's an Urgency in their voices!!!!! In a war, will U lightly command Ur men? NO!!! U will YELL at the top of Ur Goddamn Lungs!!!! This IS a spiritual and (in some cases), physical warfare on the powers that be. Bands like Hypocrisy, Darkane, Emperor, Meshuggah, ZYKLON (I can get U pre-release of Zyklon's new album AEON out in September, I work with Candleli Innocence Gone (By DARKANE) No boundaries of what you've been through Abused, molested The pain you suffered from meaningless lunacy Raped, penetrated, lunacy Once innocent, now that is gone Tro to build your life from constant lies Despise the one who bore you Hate the one that made you There's no one to confine to The hate you feel inside Rots away with the soul that died Innocence is gone Only limbs Try to conquer your pain Never daring to say no For the fright of more pain to come You let the act pass by To be brutalized in the worst possible way The hate you feel inside Rots away with the soul that died Innocence is gone Only limbs Shattered body and soul Shattered body and soul The plague will not withdraw The hate you feel inside lead: Malmstrom The plague will come to haunt you down Grind you down to nothing The black light you see is all that you feel Darkness, numbness fills the soul The hate you feel inside - The hate you feel inside - The hate you feel inside - The hate you feel inside The hate you feel inside Rots away with the soul that died Innocence is gone Only limbs exist in fearful hate The hate you feel inside Rots away with the soul that died Innocence is gone Only limbs |

Reader's comments on this article Add a new comment on this article | from Hard Rock is horrid noise Friday, April 07, 2006 - 08:19 (Agree/Disagree?) Not music, horrid noise! Sounds more like hell, the noise they call music today. So if you're eating in a restaurant and you hear music with drums in it, call the maitre D over and tell him, "You're playing this devil music from the jungles of Africa. Turn it off now, please!" Amen... I'd rather hear Faithy singing any day! (reply to this comment)

| | | | | From dawnbringer invictus Saturday, September 06, 2003, 07:59 (Agree/Disagree?) Infernal Wargoat Hails Brother!!!!!! I never thought that any of you family borns would turn out to be metalheads. As for myself, some of the stuff on the stereo lately include: Angelcorpse, Bloodstorm, Dissection, Enslaved, Naglfar, Akercocke, Possessed, Impiety, Borknagar, Emperor (live Ceremony and anything before IX Equilibrium), Belphegor, Atomizer, Absu, Order From Chaos (as you can probably tell from my nickname), Destroyer 666, Death, Surrender of Divinity, etc.... In case you're wondering about me calling you 'family born', I'm actually a former FGA. I joined out of idealism in late '97 and left mid 2000 (ie. realization that what you thought was, wasn't). And yes I was already a metalhead for 8 years prior to joining. (reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | | | From JudasChrist Saturday, September 06, 2003, 08:20 (Agree/Disagree?) Interesting I say..... Metal is in my blood. If not for the years of anger, it would be the SUPERB musicianship many of these Warriors Of Modern Death Posses (Pun intended). Ihsahn is a Master as well as countless others. I find it easy 2 listen to. i oft' fall asleep 2 such chants of war and so forth. I be a MetalManiac all the way, am a distributer P/T for several record companies. Candlelight, Relapse (NILE!!!!!!!!!), The End, Century Media, Necroplis and Crash amongst a few small labels. I get 2 see free concerts. If not working I'll be seeing Deicide in a week!!!!! Holy Deicide. Bands: Rotting Christ, Dimmu-Borgir, COF, Impaled Nazerene, Mayhem, DarkThrone, Satyricon, Naglefar, Abigor, AJATTARA (HEAVY SHIT dude, from Finland), Anaal Nathrakh, Black Dawn, Carpathian Forest, EMPEROR (RIP), Immortal, Dissection, Hypocrisy, BEHEMOTH, Nile, ZYKLON, (I can get U guys who care CHEAP, pre-released AEON cd's, the BRAND NEW album from Zyklon), Iblis, Argile, Frost, GORGOROTH!! and MAny more!!!!!! --JudasChrist...(reply to this comment) |
| | | | From JudasChrist Sunday, September 07, 2003, 20:59 (Agree/Disagree?) Emperor's "The Wrath Of The Tyrant" was the album that "did it"!!!! Also DarkThrone's "Destroyer", "Pentagram", "AntiChrist", and "Incipit Satan". Satyricon's "Rebel Extravaganza", Mayhem, Naglefar. I don't know how I got in2 it really. The music and the Satanic Writ' made so much sense to me, adn STILL does!!!! The musicians R Superb 2 say the least as well. Naglefar was a powerful force as well, making powerful anti-racism statements (Kewl for a German Black Metal Force), against Burzum. Burzum made stupid statemenst that he would never play electric guitar again because it produces Nigger-Music as he called. He's insane (as the Germna force dubbed him as). He had good shit, but that was when he DID use electronic devices. Naglefar (also-- Naglfar), have EXCELLENT music as well. REal serious Musicians. The White Album (The Beatles), was my 1st. John Lennon is Still my hero....After Ihsahn from Emperor. --JudasChrist... (reply to this comment) |
| | From dawnbringer invictus Monday, September 08, 2003, 06:02 (Agree/Disagree?) Aaaarghhhh!!! Fuck yeah Emperor's 'Wrath' is a great one. I'm actually a late comer when it comes to Emperor, I had heard 'Nightside' almost the same year it came out but it wasn't the sound that I was after at the time as I was more into prog and technical death metal back then. Oddly enough, my first "second wave" if you would black metal album was Hades (Norway) 'Again shall be.' Well like I said, it's great to know that you're a metalhead. NP: Surrender of Divinity - 'Oriental Hell Rhythmics' (This is a band from Thailand and they fucking slay) (reply to this comment) |
| | | | From Moonsetter Monday, December 18, 2006, 09:36 (Agree/Disagree?) Go slit wrists, Avril Lavigne fan! No, I'm kidding, I don't care what you like, but yeah, we can't forget that metal musicians are human, and therefore, some are stupid and some are not. (reply to this comment) |
