From Saturday, October 01, 2005, 12:21 (Agree/Disagree?) Isn't that The Structure of Scientific Revolutions? Anyway, you are right about the applicability of his work. He suggests that a given paradigm eventually has more and more anamolies and phenomenon that does not adequately explain reality within the parameters of the then-current science, then "young turks" come up with new ways of defining the world that more adequately explains those anamolies, until, finally, a whole new paradigm is created that purports to better describe reality.(reply to this comment)

The hurricanes we have witnessed recently must be a result of the KGB and rougue Japannese scientists since we have never had hurricanes until very recently. The Galveston hurricane in 1900 and Hurricane Camille in 1969 probably never happened. They were just invented post hoc to make us believe that the recent hurricanes are normal. This all make sense.
