To Daniel Roselle from Vas
(From MyConclusion)

(From Vas, 32, second-generation member of the Family International)

Hey Daniel Roselle. Remember me? Vas.

We had a lot of fun together at “Sizzlers” in California, in 93 & 94.

I seem to be remembering a certain song that we recorded together & that you wrote a rap break to. It was just a rough & not an official Family production. And you technically still own the rights to the following lyrics:

Judge Marquevich is gonna get killed
And when he goes to hell he’s gonna get billed
All the wrong he’s done all the bad he’s said
Will not be forgotten when he’s up & dead
God up in heaven is gonna look down below
Saying Marquevich I told you so
When you’re walkin down the street you better watch your back
Cuz I’m the Almighty & I take no flak
You’d better be careful cuz you’re gonna die
Cuz you’re sticking your finger in My eye
You think it’s fun to screw around
Well I’m telling you man you’re gonna feel His rod.

This was written, as you well know, during the time when our Family Members in Argentina were getting investigated & jailed. We of course, won every court case, & it was proven that The Family was a safe place to raise children. And you thoroughly believed every word of the above lyrics. We all have a hard time finding ourselves sometimes, & that’s understandable, but if we’re playing hot or cold, it seems like you’re getting colder & colder in finding yourself. I hope you do find yourself because l do love you, I’m still your friend as much now as back then. I’m just sad by what I hear. You & I both know what the truth is!!

I was in Argentina during said time period, and by no tortuous stretch of the imagination would I have considered myself "your family member", even way back then. I have heard so much from you mexican/texican raised pussies! One random phone call sent you all running for the hills, oh BIG BOO! We who actually experienced multiple raids by armed men in the wee hours of the morning have sustained less trauma from the fact than the lot of you. Mooch elsewhere! Vasshole!

Dear Vas Myers,
Please find below my response to your "Mydilusion.com" drivel.

Quoting Peter Wilkinson from RS mag #997/998 Page166 "Stilted and robotic in their writing, the messages also reeked of denial. Wrote Vas Myers, from Mexico City, "I think the alegations of abuse are absurd and unfounded."

You couldn't write for shit back in 1995 when I had knew you, and it seems Rolling Stone agrees you haven't improved much in this past decade.
Just think how lucky you are Vas. Of the several hundred tortured odes to the the beauties of living in a wank-to-Jesus cult under neocaligulas, your Cool Aid marinated missive was one of just three honored by being chosen to demonstrate the "reek of denial" permiating the myconclusion project and the entire "It's time to fight" effort.

Cheers,

Daniel

What are these people holding onto? There is no "Endtime" no major doomsday and Vas will find out he's an old man who has dedicated his whole life to a cult with no financial returns. Vas seemed like such a cool guy when met him, It's just a shame that he doesn't spend his energies into doing something worthwhile for himself. I bet he was told by one of the "shepherds" told him to do this to try to show that he is a good example of a 2nd gen guy that's all out for his cult--rather than some duped 32 year old too afraid to try anything else.

I feel sorry for this guy, because he's such a good example for why lack of education is a very serious form of child abuse. This is a young adult who reasons at the level of a 7th or 8th grade student. The logic errors in Vas' letter reminded me of essays I read when I taught 9th grade, and I responded like a Language Arts teacher:

"This was written, as you well know, during the time when our Family Members in Argentina were getting investigated & jailed." How old were you then? What did you know about the Argentina situation in 1993 beyond what you were told to think?

"We of course, won every court case," Cite your source. This is not a correct assertion. Check other sources.

" it was proven that The Family was a safe place to raise children." Cite your source. This is not a correct assertion. Check other sources.

"And you thoroughly believed every word of the above lyrics." How would you know what someone else "thoroughly believed"? Are you a mind reader? Even if Daniel did "thoroughly believe every word," is it possible he got some additional information that caused him to change his mind?

"We all have a hard time finding ourselves sometimes, & that’s understandable" Many young people have a remarkably easy time "finding themselves." Believe it or not, they grow up as Systemites and find their place in the world fairly easily. They do this by going to high school and then on to college or trade school. Abused kids who grow up in high demand religious groups where they fail to receive an adequate education seem to "all have a hard time finding" themselves, particularly if they decide to leave the group.

"but if we’re playing hot or cold, it seems like you’re getting colder & colder in finding yourself." Erroneous conclusion. Daniel "finding" himself is not equal to Daniel keeping his mouth shut about the child abuse he witnessed in TF.

"I hope you do find yourself because l do love you, I’m still your friend as much now as back then." False assertion. You are not Daniel's friend "as much now as back then." A friend would contact Daniel directly and have a conversation about what he's doing and why he's doing it.

"I’m just sad by what I hear. You & I both know what the truth is!!" Vas, what makes you sad is called "hearsay." It's generally not allowed into court testimony as evidence, so you should be very skeptical about using it to draw conclusions. Also, you have not cited any evidence that you and someone you haven't spoken to in (how many?) years "both know what the truth is."

SEA, I agree with, you my worthy colleague. However, it can be an obstacle to obtaining secondary education when one has not completed primary education.

How can you take the SAT when you don't know how to write an analogy? Case in point:

"It’s clear that failing to present the view of our approx. 1800+ current member youth would be like trusting Saddam Hussein to be your only source in obtaining a true account of President Bush’s childhood."

So Vas, you say that you've won every court case and that you were vindicated. But while the trial was still going on you were praying that god would strick down the very man who was appointed by the court to be an impartial judge.

I think this terrible rap dispays quite conveniantly the familys distaste for any justice system as well as a deeply inbred notion that they are above the law.

At the time Danielle probably had no information about the case. All he knew was that the system is bad and the family is good.

Can I get a B for brainwashed!?

Hey Vas. Remember me? 'Francis'.

We never had any fun and I ridiculed you the whole time I knew you because you are an idiot.

This is you: http://www.myconclusion.com/archives/2005/01/25/vas-myers-speaks-out/ So shut the fuck up and enjoy dick-feeding on your mom.

I consider myself a fairly intelligent guy. I won't do a diet by a guy who died of a heart attack. I won't take swimming lessons from a guy whose kid drowned. I don't let a blind guy drive me home drunk. So obviously, I won't consider any pointers on life or anything else from a redneck, slack-jawed, toothless-hick that's in a fucked up little cult.

Dan, if you indeed wrote the lyrics above, it only serves as tangible proof of the custodial transfer of mental and emotional ascendancy from abysmal concentration – the phantom fetish – to the unaltered ego, excogitation exercised on the specific and current space, time and volume occupied by the subject and/or subjects of emancipation. And it’s a rather remarkable undertaking in a world where self-induced amentia is opulent, and not for lack of adequate brain tissue. A world where a dubious forlorn value system of good and bad is place on the level of difficulty it takes to accomplish tasks, reach goals, or not to, with the easier often being the good.

Thus, the transfer in question is worthy of notice and approbation not simply for the sake of the thing or action itself, but rather, because the desired end result is certain and esteemed, and that, not by whimsical unpredictability, to be superior to the current state of existence and ownership.

Anyway, what a lovely rap song to be posted on a website of a cult that is diametrically opposed to the violence in our culture.

What's amusing is that despite years of monitoring his every action and thought, the best dirt they can find to throw at the Daniel are some really, really cheesy rap lyrics. Maybe if they had put all those OHRs in a file cabinet instead of burning them, they would be able to expose the really incriminating truth: 60% of Daniel's BMs were soft!

I remember Vas. We lived together at the teen combo in Guadalajara. I don't have any bad memories of him. He was a kid trying to get by. I do remember him telling us one time about how his dad came up behind him for goofing off when he should have been working, we were 14 or 15 back then and we were assigned to work every day, and his dad pushed him down onto a latter that was laying on the ground and started wailing on him with a belt. He said he didn't stop for a long time. From other things Vas said, it seemed like his parents were pretty abusive. I felt sorry for him. He's referred to the way they treated him before. He doesn't call it abuse, though. He saw it differently when we were kids, though.

The last time I saw him was at the border of Texas and Mexico. His parents made him wait in the car. He looked like he was in trouble, like a prisoner. I went up and spoke to him. It was actually good to see him. He seemed kind of nervous that his parents would come out of the house, as if he wasn't allowed to be speaking or something.

He knows in his heart what happened to him and many, many more of us. You remember Vas don't you? I felt for you back then. I felt sorry for you. My parents abused me, too. I still feel sorry for you that you never escaped that life. I hope someday you still will. I really hope, especially now that you have children of your own, too. From what I knew of you, you would never hurt your children the way we were abused. Protect them Vas.

I too suffered for many months at the hands of Vas' tyrannical parents. However there is definitely a point at which any current member of that cult transitions from victim to accomplice, and Vas is well past that point.(reply to this comment

To Vas (insert some Greek surname here),

Hi Vas, you weasily, little, rat bastard. Remember me. I was one of the few people you ever encountered in your teenage years who was capable of thinking for himself.

While we are on the subject of memories, you remember the time I suggested to the inhabitants of the Guadalajara Teen Combo that we all go on strike in response to leadership's demands that we work on our only weekly day off? I will never forget the look that came across your face the moment I said it. It was the look of a slimey, rat fink bastard who just happened upon a golden opportunity to ingratiate himself with the leaders. We all know how this kind of story ends, the leadership shut me down, confiscated all of my gardening books (pathetic) and sentenced me to hard labor ad nauseam. Of course, this is how they treated anyone who agitated for justice or thought freely. The upshot of the ultimate end to this story however, is that I grew up to be a much more well educated, interesting and taller individual than you will ever be. I shudder to think of the depths to which my situation would have to sink to be comparable to your music plagiarizing, pedophile harboring existence.

Point is, I consider Daniel Roselle a good friend, and a far superior human being to you by any measure, so kindly lay off him you punk ass rat bitch!

Sincerely, Exister

Looks like a cheap shot at discrediting Daniel by implying that as a result of being raised and indoctrinated by an evil cult he once might have actually expressed some of their views as his own, THE HORROR, HOW CAN WE EVER LOOK AT HIM THE SAME WAY AGAIN!!!

It's kinda pathetic, as if anyone here would deny that they have at one time thought what they were drilled from birth to believe, you are not born self-aware and with the ability to reason. Those of us who have gained the ability have done so despite a massive disadvantage due to our upbringing, whoever wrote the above must think they're pretty smart, guess they haven't achieved that same level of self-awareness.(reply to this comment

Actually, it looks more like Vas is giving Daniel a thinly-veiled warning. He's saying, Now you're the one sticking your finger in God's eye by fighting the Family & God's going to swat you down. I can imagine Vas spends time every day praying curses against the Vandari hordes. Remember the old ML, 'God's Eyes'?(reply to this comment
