from a concerned FGA Friday, March 05, 2004 - 18:12 (Agree/Disagree?) Yes, the original website may not be the Family, but take a look at their list of members. They have a list according to states and even countries. What do you bet that some of the Family uses this site for free advertising? (reply to this comment)
hahaha what song were you looking for girl? "The Clown..... put on a funny hat..striped socks and baggy pants..a big red nose and a funny wig ..coat to small and shoes to big, last of all from his costume case the clown put on a smiling face. Watch me and I'll make you laugh..."??? LOL
But seriously I agree I don't think that's a family site. To many advertisments and worldly stuff on it...lol (reply to this comment)
From frmrjoyish Friday, March 05, 2004, 14:57 (Agree/Disagree?) lol! no, its a dumb song by Groucho Marks about a lady named Lydia with a bunch of tattoos! Everyone sings it to me, but I never knew all the words!! It was my professors idea to look for it! :) (reply to this comment)
I don't think it is and here is why. At my work we do a lot of volunteer work and fundraising for CMN ( Childrens Miracle Network) and we are able to ask these volunteer clowns to come and make baloons ion the weekends. These clowns do a lot of work at Duke hospital and they seem to network with other clowns. There is the possibility that I am wrong snd this is a Family website. (reply to this comment)
Joe, "ministry" is being used by churches and christian groups just as much - if not more than - by the Family.
If the name of the site in question was "Clown Witnessing" or "Clown Outreach" I might be more inclined to believe it was a Family site.(reply to this comment)
Not to be mean, but I hate clowns. They are scary for a lot of children. They gave me nightmares. There's the whole Poltergeist and John Wayne Gacy thing to fear, not to mention the Family clowns, which are really just child molestors in face paint sometimes, right?
From di Friday, April 15, 2005, 02:56 (Agree/Disagree?) Hear, hear! I always hated clowns, too. Fortunately, "clowning" was one job in TF which I never participated in. Creepy.(reply to this comment)
