Getting Real : Speak your peace
Official Vas Bashing Thread | from exister - Thursday, November 20, 2003 accessed 3727 times The Vas bashing in other threads was too good to let it die, so here goes. I lived with him when he was but a wee squirt of 12 years in Guadalajara, Mexico. I watched a van's right front wheel seize up and grind his foot into the pavement. The 5+ fractures and a cast got him plenty of sympathy from the resident hotty, Dulce. The allure he held for females despite his short stature and nappy semi-fro was always a mystery. I lived with him in several homes and I can't remember a single one in which he didn't tap the most sought after piece of ass. As for being a kiss ass, he once apologized to me for making out with a girl I liked in a van. Like I cared! If you have any fun recollections regarding this laughable Greek American then lay them down below. BTW, is he still in or has the never-ending hunt for tail led him to greener fields? |

I have'nt heard that name since we went to TTC in mexico. Oh this is great, I just remembered a bunch of repressed memories or something. We used to call him Vasaline, and being the truly humble dude he was, he would say he still loved us. Lewzer! (reply to this comment)
| | | from MM Thursday, June 09, 2005 - 19:52 (Agree/Disagree?) Looks like you dudes all are craving for Vas' s sex life, you ,miss it dudes easy ppl?, LOL. (reply to this comment)
| | | from xolox Wednesday, June 08, 2005 - 12:38 (Agree/Disagree?) In what universe is Dulce a hottie? Ugh! (reply to this comment)
| | | | | from Monday, February 07, 2005 - 09:50 (Agree/Disagree?) Vas is just the sort of pedigree TF is looking for. Outgoing and dumber than wood. Perfect! He is the prodotype for all family youth and they should strive to be just like him. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | from Lance Wednesday, January 26, 2005 - 02:52 (Agree/Disagree?) Anyone who knows the band 'Social Distortion' knows that VAS blantantly plagiarizes their music. He even went as far as to copy their song 'Sponge' word for word and note for note. (reply to this comment)
| | | From Lance Friday, June 10, 2005, 13:06 (Agree/Disagree?) 1. Are you referring to social Distortion as crap or Vas's music as crap? 2. If you know the band I'm referring to but don't know Vas's music, how can you rightly make a comparison? 3. If you are asking why I listen to Vas's music, and you are referring to his music as crap. My reply would have to be that anyone within the family over the past ten years HAS to have heard something from Vas. So I don't listen to it at all, I LISTENED to it. 4. If you ask why I listen to social distortion and that their music is crap. My reply would be: Because they're a great fucking band dude!... (reply to this comment) |
| | From Nancy Friday, June 10, 2005, 16:45 (Agree/Disagree?) I've actually never heard Vas' music. I knew him when we were kids. He was half decent at the time. He was in trouble a lot, so I thought he was half smart and had a mind of his own. I had no idea he would sell out. I guess there were so many people leaving over the years that he finally got the opportunity to be the guy. It's all very strange because I thought the cult was opposed to celebrities and would tear people down if they became too liked or known. I guess both Vas and the cult sold out when they embraced each other. Sad really! I remembered Vas like a prisoner of war held captive by his parents. It's heart-breaking to learn his parents won, and Vas gave up and sold his soul and free will and life to the cult. It was a loss, as he seemed to have a caring personality at one time. I think the cult beat that out of him. He says he never experienced abuse. He's lying. His dad beat him. Poor man. He gave up and gave in. I wonder if he even remembers when he first did it. | | From xolox Saturday, June 11, 2005, 00:23 (Agree/Disagree?) I was unfortunate to have lived with his mother, that woman is a walking advertisement for a plentyfull source of strong and durable straightjackets. You know what they say, where you see one, there are ten more hiding in the walls. Here's an idea, you can even have a pair ebroidered with your parents/step-parents' names, and "give" it to them as a present. Sort of an aniversary of joining the cult kinda thing. "...hey mom, dad, you ever wonder what a napkin full of ether smells like...?" ...one last buckle... aaannnnd done. There we go... Now open wide for pill time! That'a a gooood mommy....(reply to this comment) |
| | From afflick Saturday, June 11, 2005, 07:25 (Agree/Disagree?) Vas's mother, Laurie Myers (Victory), has to take a heap of blame for the way her child turned out. Laurie has been "dating" my father for the last ten years, and he has helped to raise her younger children. In all of my experiences with her, she has been pathologically selfish (even to her very young children), hurtful, has proven herself to be unable to deal with everyday life. TFI is the perfect place for her.(reply to this comment) |
| | | | From afflick Tuesday, June 14, 2005, 16:33 (Agree/Disagree?) No, I cannot accept that he had all "the good sucked out of him" by someone else, as if he was some passive player. There IS such a thing as too passive, too wimpy to help another. As Clay's child from his first marriage, I cannot help but hold him accountable for his actions. He has spent a lifetime looking for someone to tell him what to do, as long as it didn't mean looking after the seven children (me and six from his second marriage) he helped create. Yes, he liked to play basketball with the guys. Yes, he is mild mannered and my inclination is that he wasn't involved in the raping of little girls. But that doesn't make him a good guy. As much as it breaks my heart to say it, he is responsible for all the hurt and broken lives his girlfriend (Vas's mom) loved to create just as much as if he did it himself. (reply to this comment) |
| | From loch Sunday, June 12, 2005, 10:03 (Agree/Disagree?) That woman is by far one of the craziest people I've ever met. That coming from someone who grew up in the family, and lived with all sorts of "dancing-for-jesus-in-my-painties" crazy aunties, says a whole lot! That time in Mc-Allen, when I lived with her for the last time, nearly drove me to suicide. Lucky for me, her son Chris was half hot, and occupied me on the roof, just long enough to save my life! =)(reply to this comment) |

Are you talking about Vas Myers? http://www.myconclusion.com/archives/2005/01/25/vas-myers-speaks-out/ I never had the "pleasure" of meeting Vas but from the picture it seems he has now adopted the country western hillbilly toothed look. | From Nancy Thursday, June 09, 2005, 17:10 (Agree/Disagree?) Some of the best evidence of the substandard or non-existent education children raised in the Family received is their own writing. Vas is a perfect example. His writing is appalling. I can barely understand what he is trying to convey in some of his run-on, convoluted and non-sensical sentences. He uses words of which he obviously doesn't know the definition or proper use. He puts words in awkward contexts. It's just a mess, and he is one of the better writers among his cult kid peers. The Family is ridiculous to create websites to highlight the poor education of their children as evidenced in their poor grammar and convoluted writing style. (reply to this comment) |
| | from JP Thursday, January 20, 2005 - 20:43 (Agree/Disagree?) Ahhh yes. I still reminise the day Vas got his foot run over. Too bad I wasn't there with him. I lived in that home in Guad. Dulce was sweet though. Does anyone else think Vas just wanted to be a holy Elvis? (reply to this comment)
| From xolox Wednesday, June 08, 2005, 12:28 (Agree/Disagree?) When one thinks back on the whole Vas thing, one has to hand it to the guy. Think about it, here's this ugly, short, smelly dude, who's only chance of getting some is to sway the already feeble minded women in his vicinity, somehow. Apparently there are plenty of feeble minded women where he comes from, 'cause it seems to have worked. That anyone would want to sleep with a guy like that is bizarre, that some one would marry him is frightening, that they would breed is almost criminal to the poor children that will be burdened with his dumbo ears and velcro head. It really doesn't say much for those poor womens self esteem. Only in TFI does a pathetic man like that become popular. (reply to this comment) |
| | | | From Not too proud of this...... Wednesday, June 08, 2005, 17:23 (Agree/Disagree?) It's funny and sickening when I think about it now. But I was 12, he was a lead singer in a band (the kewlest band in TF at the time, I'm sure you all remember), I went to some camp in DC and fell inlove with him. I even got an autographed picture of the dude that I remember I used to tape by my bed. It's rather nasty to think about now looking at the picture of him on that site. But really now, our self esteems were non existent, we we taught to not have a self esteem. We we're supposed to be "humble" remember? It's just sick how they filled our minds with such crap.(reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | from Vicky Sunday, July 11, 2004 - 21:24 (Agree/Disagree?) Off topic, but never mind: Please, someone come to the chatroom and talk to me... I gotta stay awake another hour or two. Don't ask me why; I'm just a little bit crazeeee... : ) (reply to this comment)
| | | | | from gingersnaps Wednesday, May 19, 2004 - 06:59 (Agree/Disagree?) Well, last I saw Vas he was married to a girl a whole head shorter than him ( coincidently one of the most sought after chicks, called Mercy) He was in Mexico last I heard with two kids pioneering a "home" with a couple of other "charismatic" power hungry guys he knew from D.C. ( Can´t recall names now) Don´t know if he is still married or what. Last I saw him was about 7 years ago(?). I personally don´t care what happens to him or where he is. I never am turned on by a guy who sings " Let´s make love! Let´s do it right!" to God. Is that a gay tendency I see there? If I were Mercy I´d watch out! (reply to this comment)
| | | from Nancy Tuesday, February 10, 2004 - 10:20 (Agree/Disagree?) Hey, Andy, do you know whatever became of John Paul? Remember him from Gaudalajara? I think his mother was Bolivian. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | from lochnymph Tuesday, February 10, 2004 - 02:03 (Agree/Disagree?) Ha, its funny to hear you tell that story dude. I was in that home when he got his foot run over. I was only 8 but I thought it was funny as hell, being that he was a taddle tale and all, and was responsible for the episode where the famous red spatula was broken on my wee ass. HA! Actualy, the "Peace" that is mentioned in some of the replies, is my dear mother. =) she's learning to take deep breaths and injoy life, now that she's not in the Family. (reply to this comment)
| from lacy Tuesday, December 16, 2003 - 14:20 (Agree/Disagree?) Vas was actually and is a very good friend of mine but the temptation is here I must admit to make fun of him as he is and always has been so proud of himself and exactly the way you described him!( Fro and all) When I first met him he explained to me many times how he attained his good body and "muscles". --By being put on victors for a long time for being "a bad boy" and therefore having to lift "huge rocks" from one pile to the next day after day! Ha! (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | From Benz Tuesday, December 16, 2003, 20:13 (Agree/Disagree?) Only met Vas once…didn’t notice any thing…but then again dumb 15 – 25 year old girls are easily gotten with a show of confidence or charisma…gets boring after a while. Most guys I know would probably say Vas did you a favour. – Who’d want to go out with a girl who’d do that little prick anyhow. – Worse yet if she actually thinks he’s some sort of celebrity, unless you like a girl with bad taste. For those twats calling you bitter, well no use defending yourself…they probably don’t know what a decent relationship is anyhow. (reply to this comment) |
| | from Nancy Monday, November 24, 2003 - 10:50 (Agree/Disagree?) Hey Exiter, what is your name? I remember those days. I remember getting fed up in the kitchen and wanting to work someplace else and Peace telling me, "You don't want to leave now while we're making dinner for Vas's birthday." Why, of course not!!! ;) (reply to this comment)
| | | From Nancy Monday, November 24, 2003, 15:04 (Agree/Disagree?) Oh goodness, now how do I tell you my name without posting it here? Is your mother named Ruth? Is that you? I was in Monterrey in 1989 and in Guadalajara when Peace and Simon were there. They sent me with them when they went to open Monterrey. Fun times, remembering indentured servitude! When we arrived, I got really, really sick. I got hepatitis thanks to Rosita! They were passing it around in Guadalajara and someone gave it to me. They didn't know it until we got to Monterrey. They didn't even take me to the doctor. I remember Peace just giving me garlic pills. My! Childhood does hold such fondness! ;) (reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | from banal_commentator Saturday, November 22, 2003 - 00:42 (Agree/Disagree?) You, exister, are obviously very bitter that he made out with your gf. Let it go, time heals all wounds, let the flower of forgiveness grow within you....Actually, I don't blame you. I have vendettas against people I used to know and I have said so very meanly on this site. We are two bitter people......huddle. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | From awsomeA Saturday, August 07, 2004, 08:10 (Agree/Disagree?) hey, ok yea, i did say i wasnt gonna read the reply's. ow well, i got bored. anyway, i think its silly the way u guys pick on extremly small faults or problems with us, yet u people generally are people id never hope to be like, either in the family or out. ur rude, u swear, have no courtesy whatsoever. if that is what it means to be out of the family...thank god im in it...theres no problem with u guys not being in the family, just dont pick on us for our choice.its none of ur business what I, or 12000 other people do with our lives. | | From Silence_Restriction_Kid Thursday, June 09, 2005, 00:14 (Agree/Disagree?) Leave this poor schmuck be, he is obviously devoid of any higher brain function. He wouldn't last 5 minutes in the real world; he needs a separate entity to make his decisions for him. I f he ever does decide to leave he'll just end up in some other fundamentalist religious group. Or worse yet, in the tenderloin district of some major metropolitan area giving hand jobs for crack. Unfortunately there is a sucker born every minute and a world full of scum bags waiting to fuck them over. Hey Amos I dare you to try leaving, to see if you have what it takes…Oh who am I kidding WTF do I care, one less person in the unemployment line sucking up my tax dollars. P.S. You just better not come crawling back when you hit retirement age begging for a piece of my Social Security, IRA or 401K. None for you……….. Bitches!!! Note: ……… Bitches!!!
