Getting Real : Faith No More
xFamily.org Publications Database | from Thorwald - Monday, April 16, 2007 accessed 967 times For comedic release only! We, the editors of xFamily.org, are pleased to announce our new "xFamily.org Publications Database". You can find it here: http://pubs.xfamily.org The database is currently in "beta" form and we will be adding many more texts (i.e. just about anything the Children of God / The Family International has ever published, with and without their purges) soon. The database currently only has the "Mo Letters" (all the way up to February 2007). As a side note: We will be adding _every_ version of _every_ publication this group has every released (with or without their purges) presently. The search field currently provides only basic search capabilities (title or text). We will be adding advanced search capabilities soon. We welcome any comments or suggestions. PS: They received prophecies about/against me (aka "Skanska"; they thought I had "visited a home (recently) and took this information from them"). Well, I have not visited a "home" in over 12 years; freaking false prophets! |

| | | from GetReal Monday, April 16, 2007 - 19:54 (Agree/Disagree?) i read part of the last gn . took me about twenty minutes . same old shit . the family is going platinum all we have to do is follow these easy steps the lord gave us .We know its not humanly possible but with the lords help we can and we will .PTL. Trying to cover up the cracks in the organization . two things that just broke my heart were all training programs and them taking the kids out of school. why can't they just leave the kids alone , let them think their own thoughts for a change?I think I know.they would get up and get a life.I talked with my half sister in the cult yesterday , shes about to turn eighteen.Telling me how ecstatically happy she is over and over again. How the world was coming to an end , asking me what I was doing with my life .suggesting i could only find true happiness in the family .at first i was very concerned , but after hearing the GNs through her voice for a bit to long it kind of made me numb . I made fun of her a little bit and wished her the best of luck.Well at least I still have my life and I swear I'm going to live it to the full , with no regrets . I wish you all the best of luck (reply to this comment)
| From Big Sister Tuesday, April 17, 2007, 13:04 (Agree/Disagree?) Reading the last GN I am struck by how similar the wording and concepts are to the motivational talks given to corporate sales people to go out and WIN WIN WIN and SELL SELL SELL. Even complete with goals, sacrifices, deadlines, and metaphorical references war and the importance of winning. As a woman of the same generation as the FGAs, I am struck by how sad it is that all these TF folks in their 40s, 50s and even 60s are unable to have their own goals and deadlines to reach their OWN dreams. Instead they have latched onto and become dependant on a complete system that tells them what to do, when to do it and why they need to get going. I'm sure it is apparent that most people in that age range do not need to be manipulated like clueless, aimless children. Most sad is that 50% of the homes have poor stability, by TF's own definition. Seems the corporate officers of TF are highly focused on getting maximum financial gain and have suddenly realized that a stable work force with relationships within a community can benefit them. My own sister in TF has moved about every 4 to 5 months for years to the serious detriment of her children's education and medical care. Simply finding a home she can belong to and work with, just finding a good place to live and a way to take care of herself, seems to have been beyond her reach for her entire life. At least it's one up from being homeless. (reply to this comment) |
| | from WTF Monday, April 16, 2007 - 18:19 (Agree/Disagree?) Wow, I can't even find the words to describe how seriously demented Zerby is. Who in their right mind would even read the titles of any of those "letters" and not run for their lives/sanity? 3630 reasons are right there. It's hard to believe there are adults out there (I mean in there) that fall for that crap. (reply to this comment)
| from PopNFresh Monday, April 16, 2007 - 15:16 (Agree/Disagree?) So where can I find this prophecy? I haven't had my daily devotions yet. I need some new wine! (reply to this comment)
| | | From PopNFresh Monday, April 16, 2007, 22:27 (Agree/Disagree?) Oh Thorwald you fool! Don't you realize that posting God's word on these websites only spreads the his message to all the "not really agnostic" people who come to these sites? Surely you realize that any Christian who stumbles upon these publications will instantly want to have fantasy sex with Jesus? What man can resist fantasizing himself as a woman and having a big c*ck of love thrust into him while singing songs of praise to Christ? Don't you realize what you've done?!! Well I defintely had a chuckle at some of that crap. Thanks for all your work.(reply to this comment) |
