| from tastypants Sunday, October 30, 2005 - 19:57 (Agree/Disagree?) im a black belt in kick you in the balls and then break the nearest object over your head. (reply to this comment)
| from Deb Saturday, October 29, 2005 - 18:35 (Agree/Disagree?) I guess it depends on why you want to learn martial arts. Some people do it just because it's cool, but it's also a lot of hard work! I study kumdo, which is good for upper body strength, and my kids do taekwondo, which is good for self-discipline and weight loss. My son is now a black belt and in junior Olympic training, so he's liking that! (reply to this comment)

| from conjoined twins Friday, October 21, 2005 - 18:07 (Agree/Disagree?) there's a saying in Qigong that it takes three years to think you feel the chi, and five when you really do. any experiences of this? I have been doing the '8 pieces of the Brocade' for three years - it's qigong for health (i.e. practiced by laymen) and it has done me the world of good. I got sent the book by accident from Amazon who were promoting it at the time, I must has accidentally clicked something. anyway, i have learnt from a book so far but I hope to find a good master soon. The book is by dr yang and his website is http://www.ymaa.com/ in case anyone is interested.. peace, mes amis (reply to this comment)
