accessed 1878 times In response to the many occurences and witnessing of the orgies as well as "sharing" parties, how has that affected many of us today as we try to function within the"system" we were told was sure to destroy us?? Are we able to function normally in adult sexual relationships or are we doomed to a life of being pleasure palates for men to design their fantasies using our bodies as they see fit?? Women of the "family" give me some feedback PLEASE. And those dancing/sex tapes- do they end up being sold to the highest bidder on eBay or is that priviledged information?? Just asking because I may have been on a few during many nights of being"sedated" for my illness?? Don't want to become a porn star overnight without my consent. Don't confuse my questions of concern as ridicule or to be taken lightly- I am deadly serious because I was recently proposed to and I don't want this guy thinking I'm some sort of freak with an unusually sordid past from hell!! I'm truly concerned about my future so if any of you have any advice PLEASE contact me, my email address is in my profile.
And speaking of any of those tapes- do they still exist?? Does anybody have one in his or her possesion?? |

I don't mean to be sceptical, but this article is a little strange. I don't remember anyone being "sedated" in the Family. Perhaps you were just in a very different part of the cult than me, I had a hard time getting aspirin, for Gods sake.
As for your question at the end, that doesn't sound legal. I would "suggest" that you edit it.

I agree with what Ahem? says...You really should word this differently. I think you already have opinions on your supposedly sincere question. The underlying message I got from your whole commentary is that, "Sure many of us have seen or****, but that doesn't mean that we are affected by it," or "Someone prove to me that watching or participating in these or**** while in the cult had an affect on your current life" Kind of like a proposed duel or a bout for some boxing match of opposing views. I can personally attest to witnessing, and hearing about or**** three ways and all kinds of stuff that my parents and my care-takers were involved in. Sure this doesn't effect my everyday life, I've learned to put those things behind me and just treat it as an oddity that happened while growing up. It just goes to say, how unnatural and strange our childhoods were, especially those 2nd gen born pre 1980. It has affected my views towards promiscuity and s** and I feel that s** is very mechanical and has nothing to do with real love...Is that what you want to hear?(reply to this comment) |

Oh I forgot to mention, I find it highly unlikely that anyone will have any tapes. Remember most of these acts were recorded when video cameras were still very expensive, and video tape disintegrates easily in hot climates were alot of this was filmed. Remember the "purge" in 1990? and 1991? We were still children but the adults destroyed any and all material such as this, only a few were left around which I think the media has it all already. Like many things in our childhood, there is no documentation, you have to go by what we say, I personally remember Keda making a film circa 1980, 1981 in all the homes of South East Asia, since we were the main home in Indonesia she did about a 2 hour segment on us, featuring full blown on s** with couple swapping in the home, including my Dad, n*** dancing and other shocking material, oh well all long gone by now.
