I was about 8 years old living with my parents in a Home in Switzerland up in the mountains (the foundation had cracked or slid, so the building had a slight slope to it). The house had been a small hotel or something before and the basement had a row of about 10 - 12 bunkbeds lined up next to each other. Every Saturday evening was "Sharing Night", and all of us children were given the "mandatory option" to go at it with eachother. If you didn't want to participate, you were punished. So picture--if you can stomach it--15 to 20 children between the ages of 5 and 12 having an orgy on this long row of bunkbeds, with an adult supervisor standing near by making sure we were doing it right. What on earth were they thinking? This same room had a 1-gallon bucket with a lid in one corner that served as the "potty". My earliest memories of all the sex stuff were in Indonesia, The members in that country were notorious for their sexcapades, which included orgies. One time we went to visit another home and wondered where our mothers were, so me and this kid went looking and found them in a room in the single guys room with bunkbeds and each one of these beds about 9 had couples in them bangin away. Another time which just makes me laugh at the irony of it all. Was when I was at a fellowship with many rented bungalows and one of the guys, whose name was Levi, a big American Fellow was asking everyone, "wheres my Wife Cassandra?" I then walked in on my Dad and this buxom woman, Cassandra just having at it inside the bungalow! I fell asleep on the outside foyer on the table. Isn't that a crack? I also remember being woken up so many times to the sound of ooohhhs and aahhhs. One such time I woke up, to this usual sound with PTL"s and TYJ's being yelled with three pairs of feet in my Dad & moms bed, him and 2 women. I remember my Dad & Mom having make up sex after she or he went ff'ing, sometimes with their shoes still on! Well they did a narration, and Nadia, a german lady who was the Wild Wind and her husband Phillip who was French and she did this dance to this song, and then got fucked, the adults were joking after the viewing that he was too silent untill the end when he "came" screaming. Then this black sister, did this song Mucumba, and then fucked my Dad sitting up backwards like the cover of that letter, all on video. There was a time when I would wake up everynight to the moans and groans of the adults in our home. I can remember as if it were yesterday when my parent's bed never had just my parents in it and I have a half-sister to prove it. I saw so many naked dancing videos of adults and children. In Indonesia they filmed dancing/sex videos for Berg out in the yard. In Japan, a lot of the adults and even young adults of the time (think early to late teens) would get together in our home (the NAS home) and go at it while we tried to sleep through the paper walls and doors, or whilst sleeping in a matress closet behind the slilding door. from Spring Tuesday, May 25, 2004 - 06:21 (Agree/Disagree?) I witnessed quite a few orgies - mostly between 1980 and 1982. This was in the Miami area and also in Mexico and at MCV in Puerto Rico. It’s weird to imagine people that you know (parents) actually participating in something like that. Of course, sharing was much more common. I am aware that my father loved this part of TF and although my mom pretends that she did not like that aspect, she did participate willingly (and maybe enthusiastically). Anyway, it’s hard to imagine how people could do these things, especially with their young children around. Just knowing that my parents “shared” and that my mom participated in FFing makes sex seem weird. I remember very clearly how once every couple of weeks the latest dance/sex video would come, and everyone would gather in one of the trailers and watch it and have sex. There were dance/sex videos from MWM, and all sorts of raunchy videos, all “To Dad”, with all sorts of really wild—understatement—stuff on them. There were several orgies on the videos. They said they averaged 3 partners per “sharing night.” They were not making it up, it was confirmed to me by my sibling's spouse and a few other young people in the home. If I understand correctly SA had a lot more cases of Child abuse as far as the teen girls molested and such. Although it was prevelent in other places esp. after the leadership moved to other contries. It also depends on your age a lot of these things didn't happen when we were older although sharing was still rampant. Don't disbelieve it just because you didn't see it. Our past is still a sore spot for some of us and it will take time to deal with our issues asking such a blank question for nothing more than curiosity is probably not going to invoke a lot of response. Of course I heard a lot about it and generally knew who was sleeping with who or who was having a "date" with who as my room was often used for that kind of thing. I did hear about some happening in Europe but I think it was more a bunch of people having sex at the same time in the same room (orgy I think means switching partners and having a free for all). Like the post before this said, that stuff mostly happened in the 80's and isn't that common now unless you can find a bunch of willing people which is quite hard nowadays. What I clearly remember was the overly sexualised environment we were surrounded by, in the letters, the comics, the LWG, everything. This in itself is not a healthy and wholesome way for young children to be brought up, in my opinion. I think that the majority of the hard-core sexual stuff happened in places like India and South America - I have friends who lived in India who remember walking around during the love-up times basically stepping over adults who were going at it with each other all over the floor. These places also seem to have been the hotspots for sexual abuse of children, as far as I can tell. Looking at my own childhood, I do remember being aware of the fact that my mom was 'sharing' with the guys, but it wasn't done in full view or anything like that, I was just smart enough to see the signs. Individual "sharing schedules" were much more common to see posted up on the fridge. I believe that the FN encyclopedia (which was burnt but there are still copies floating around) has a few pictures of full-fledged orgies that were proudly sent in and published. You have to remember there was so few "system" books in the Family I read everything the Family had pubished more than once by the time I was eight. The 'WNDex' was the big book full of reprinted news articles, the 'FN Encyclopedia' was the one made up of the Family News mags, before they became FSMs. The books were a similar size and colour. I found an FN Enc. in a suitcase full of old lit about 10 years ago and re-reading it was quite something, esp. considering I had read it from cover to cover numerous times by teh time I was 10. That book has to be one of the most incriminating books around, although most of them have been destroyed so they are very difficult to find. (reply to this comment)
