Getting On : All My Politics
Obama's Hardship? | from Phoenixkidd - Wednesday, March 26, 2008 accessed 432 times Stuff like this makes me sick Not that I am not an Obama supporter but when I see stuff like this at election time, making headlines on yahoo news it just makes me sick--Sick to think that people would actually feel sorry for him and that it would prove his integrity or give any meausure at all to the American Public of his endurance or so called scruples. I am sure any of us who endured the cult have endured 10 times of what the Obama Camp is raving about here. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080326/ap_on_el_pr/obama_high_school |

At first glance I thought you were referring to osama, as in osama bin laden. I couldn't figure out why you were defending him and that we should be sympathetic to his plight having grown up in the family. Lol! I finally realized what you were talking about. Perhaps that type of misassociation is part of the problem? (reply to this comment)

I think it's natural that during elections people are going to be curious about the candidates and what experiences inform their perspective on the world. I find it interesting. Likewise, I find some of John McCain's experiences and heroism in Vietnam to be interesting. People can't choose if they're going to be born into rich or poor families or have good parents or shitty parents who join shitty cults. I think you have just judge people by what they do and how they conduct themselves in the situations they find themselves. If everybody, everywhere was disgusted by those who didn't have it as badly as they did then Dramamine would be the new water. (reply to this comment)
