Its a long article but well worth the read.
Here is 1 excerpt that worried me the most.
"In the two years since he became prophet, Jeffs has ordered all dogs shot; closed the town zoo; forbidden television, holidays, movies and music; banned laughter; forbidden swimming and water sports, and sent "God Squads" of young men to inspect residences and report any violations of his edicts."

You've gotta be kiddin me. This guy Warren Jeffs, is wanted in Arizona for molestation and embezzelment of state funds to the local school in the town that he controlled through his Mormonish cultish following!! They had better extradite him back to AZ to face these charges he is just as bad as Berg if not worse.

I have to say he's worse than Berg! He's an awful, horrid person! And has a lot of power. But to give Berg his due, I think if he could have managed it, he would have done the same, established some little commune up in the hills, cut himself off from the world and gotten complete and total control over the entire population, both physical, mental and spiritual control.
I read this article and the other on Scientology before going to bed, and I didn't sleep very well that night.(reply to this comment) |
