    I came across excerpts of this speech by Bill Moyers recently in an editorial published in the Star Tribune. The full text can be found at: http://www.alternet.org/envirohealth/20666/

    It reminds me of a conversation I had with my sister who is still in the cult. She insinuated that I am wasting my life trying to find solutions to social and environmental problems, since the world can only “get worse” before Jesus returns. Just imagine the implications if policymakers think in this "cultish" way!

    Great article Regi. I really enjoyed it!

    Yeah, I will say that Bill Moyers is probably one of my favorite journalists. But sadly his generation and form of journalism is dying.

    And Yes, Bill O’Reilly is a cheap hack!

    Yeah...I'm a Bill Moyers fan. He recently won the George Polk award for journalism. Bill O'Reilly ripped him and the New York Times last night which only served to make me a greater fan of Moyers.
