i.work.too.much.but.its.the.only.way.to.catch.up.and.live.somewhat.decently....
i.dont.believe.in.god.anymore....but.i.stopped.way.back.when.i.a.kid.and.spent.too.much.time.thinking.about.how.nothing.i.was.force.fed.added.up.or.made.sense...
i.dont.drink.or.do.drugs.much...
i.just.started.smoking.when.i.turned.21.and.moved.back.to.NY...its.a.disgusting.habit....
my.spacebar.is.broken
since.i.left.ive.pretty.much.categorically.avoided.exmembers....(except.for.immediate.relatives.and.very.good.very.old.friends)...
i.find.most.of.them.to.be.irritating.and.boring.hacks.who.are.trying.too.hard.to.prove.how.much.better.they.are.then.current.family.members...which.is.very.family.like.in.my.opinion....everybody.wants.to.be.elite.i.guess....
in.my.perusal.of.this.site.it.seems.that.all.the.bickering.and.backbiting.that.the.family.seems.to.thrive.on.has.found.an.equally..comfortable.home.here....
seriously...i.had.no.education.in.the.family....i.can.barely.read.and.write.properly....i.blow.at.arithmetic.and.everything.else....but.everything.i.know.i.taught.myself.by.sneaking.books.and.a.radio.under.my.pillow.and.doing.endless.NYTimes.crosswords...im.pretty.sure.most.of.you.did.similarly....
i.swear.to.god....if.all.you.can.criticize.about.someone.is.their.grammar...whats.the.use....?

Nice one mate. Wish more would extricate themselves from the sniping/vitriolic and self-righteous attitude we were brought up on and realise they're playing into the hands those we've rejected.
I too read anything I could get my hands on when still in the cult, that wasn't written by the false prophet. Although I don't know you in person I empathise with you through the points you've raised.

I agree with you about some people on this site, who go out of their way to seem smart, articulate, well educated, rich, or whatever. Yawn! There is nothing wrong with any of those things, but let's keep on the real yo! Also, some people here are so touchy! Good god! It's okay to have a laugh and act stupid. Don't take yourself so seriously. It's going to be okay. I promise.

I used to smoke two packs a day.
If you have the will power to quit a cult, you can quit cigarrettes. Trick is to do it cold turkey. Really, it's the only way.
Good luck with the keyboard thing. You could post a request in the wanted section of Craigslist.org, most likely you'll have a free one in a couple of days.

If you are who I think you are, then you were just a kid when I knew you but I knew your bro in MD. Smoking is pretty disgusting--I prayed and asked the lord to help me quit but I think he must be taking a nap or something because I never got a response...oh well. Anyhow, I like what you had to say...um, so, yeah.. keep fighting and all that.
