System of A Clown | from Anthony - Monday, July 29, 2002
accessed 1442 times As far as mainstream music goes, System of A Down is not too bad for a post-grunge Alt. Rock band. I like some of what I've heard from them over the years, and their latest overplayed radio hit song, Aerials, has some good moments, despite sounding much like Chop Suey. Of course, I don’t care for their lyrics or politics either, just the music.
As for the lead singer, Serj Tankian, that systematic vocalist, he looks like a razor and color-challenged clown from Gyumri, Armenia. Thus, I think the band’s name would be more apropos if it were changed to System of A Clown.

Yes they definitely rock, omitting their lyrical content. My favorite is Radio/Video. I cant wait for Hypnotize.

Well *I* think the cult’s name would be more apropos if it were changed to System of A Clown.
"System of A Clown International" would be OK too if they insist on differentiating themselves from other clownish systems.
