from openmind - Tuesday, February 14, 2006 accessed 1116 times Perform all the hocus pocus if you wish A Redolence of Expediency Berg’s misinterpretation of the Bible in his so-called ‘Law of Love’ was appalling. He enjoyed stressing the first portion of “All things are lawful to me, but not all things are expedient”. I shudder in disgust with the mere thought that thousands of people – people with brains like you and me, only incapable of, or consciously unwilling to think independently - followed him into thinking that “Anything… any form of conduct is allowable or decent”, since… abracadabra… All Things Are Lawful! Evidently, Berg used this insignificant Biblical phrase to insinuate that any form of sexual activity… with anyone… regardless of age… is perfectly fine. All adults who remained in The Family during the time “Law of Love” was released were irrefutably guilty - to some degree - of not taking any action against this reprehensible doctrine. All were aware of the dangerous underlying consequences they justified as being “lawful”. Why? Why did they wholeheartedly agree to “Live the Law of Love”? They longed for a leader, a sense of belonging, a cause, sexual liberty or a license to molest young children. Regardless of their personal reasons, they remain fully accountable for their actions… or the lack thereof. And, as for The Family International. Perform all the hocus pocus if you wish... behind a façade of social development activities and charity, The Family International still brings unpleasant memories of a painful past to thousands. The current leadership may try to run from their blood-soaked past but they can never successfully hide. Their track record stands, as plain as day, self-evident of rampant child abuse. |
