The stupid part was posting the home number online, dude. ;-) Also, if the info came from a contact in that home they will likely never get another login. A bit of additional info regarding the photos of Zerby et al... firstly, they've been online publicly for more than 3 months now. After the Family discovered the photos online, emails were circulated within WS that in reaction they would try to post photos of their own online within 24 hours. Following this they posted some old photos of Zerby on rickyrodriguez.com, then copied the more flattering of the recent pics from xFamily.org to their members-only site so their flock wouldn't have to visit "detractors' websites" to see them. Thunder7, just FYI, the young people in the group shot with Zerby & Kelly are not living with them as you suggested in your caption... it was taken during a recent Summit meeting, and many of the SGAs were CROs, VSes, etc. For a caption of who they are, see the photo on xFamily.org.(reply to this comment)

Which is why it's generally not a good idea to post this information publicly or give it to a lot of people. If you had instead provided the information to only a few carefully selected people rather than publicly announcing it to everyone, it probably could have been used for quite awhile without them having any clue. Hopefully you were able to save some stuff - especially the pictures which could be an invaluable resource for finding pictures of child abusers. (reply to this comment)

Disregarding my lack of belief that any hack was involved in aquiring this info, there are a few things that may be of interest to those here who are able to login using that username before it is shut down. 1. There is not a universal username & password. Each home has their own password so leaks like this can be shut down easily. The username is the home number used in TRF reports, etc. For example, VE206 is an FM home in Venezuela (for this reason there will be no CM-only pubs listed when using the above login). 2. GNs and some other pubs are not directly downloadable. If you click a GN link, the process that follows includes adding hidden info to the file (to identify the home that leaked it in case files are made available publicly), encrypting the GN using the PGP key of the home you're logged in as, then sending it to the registered email address of said home. 3. An interesting point for me is that the photos of Zerby, Kelly & other top leaders provided on the members-only site were stolen from xfamily.org, not vice versa. ;-)(reply to this comment)
