Getting Out : Media Reports
Scarlett Keeling | from jez - Thursday, March 20, 2008 accessed 583 times Scarlett Keeling, British 15 yr old murdered in Goa Does anyone know if her mother Fiona MacKeown (43) is in TF? From her photo in the paper she bloody looks like it. Besides, according to the article, Goa's home minister is trying to get her deported on the grounds that she frequently visits India with 6 of her 9 children and has no source of income. |

Sounds like her mum just never grew up. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article3521799.ece (reply to this comment)
| From Peter Thursday, March 20, 2008, 18:22 (Agree/Disagree?) The article states that the mother requested that "India’s equivalent of the FBI to take over an investigation into her daughter’s suspected rape." Asking the authorities to investigate the rape of one's child and seeking to bring a child rapist to justice is not something most Family members would do. I have certainly never heard of a case where a mother in The Family who learned her daughter had been raped asked the authorities to investigate and bring the rapist to justice. The fact that she asked for an investigation of her daughter's rape is a strong indicator that she is probably not a member of The Family. (reply to this comment) |
| | From jez Saturday, March 22, 2008, 17:00 (Agree/Disagree?) That might have something to do with the rapists being cult members, however in this case it would appear to have been a local. The cult protects their own, but have no qualms bringing the law to bear on outside criminals. Besides, I've no knowledge of murder committed within the cult. Don't forget their racism and contempt for third world government agencies, which could mean she thought they wouldn't investigate as thoroughly and dig up her dirty laundry.(reply to this comment) |
| | From jezz Saturday, March 22, 2008, 18:44 (Agree/Disagree?) "The cult protects their own, but have no qualms bringing the law to bear on outside criminals." Bullshit. My sister was raped, robbed and almost killed by a local (non family member) while in TF. Instead of calling the police, they literally bolted the doors and had her on 24 hour watch since the rape happened during an attempted escape. (reply to this comment) |
| | | | From jezz Thursday, April 03, 2008, 20:12 (Agree/Disagree?) She was a minor, living in a foreign country under the care of TF members who lived in that home. Her attempted escape turned into a nightmare and she was back in her "loving" F home the next day (she never really left). For these reasons, she was still considered "one of their own". I don't know why I had to mention the attempted escape. My point was that TF members who lived in that home were only concerned about locking her in the house so that she could not run away again (another reason why she was still considered "one of their own"). They could not care less about filing a police report and making the slightest effort to find and bring the Sick Fuck to justice. I have never heard of TF having any respect for the law or justice regardless of whether the criminal was in TF or had never heard of TF. There philosophy is: "give it all to some jesus fantasy" and he will deal with it as/if he likes. (reply to this comment) |
| | From jez Friday, April 04, 2008, 17:54 (Agree/Disagree?) Oh well, I was just curious as to whether or not that girl was in the cult. By no means was I justifying their strange goings on. I've been out since 1986 and it doesn't surprise me if they got even weirder. If she was in the cult and did get murdered, then it's another example of the Darwin Awards. Even if she wasn't in the cult, her mother appears as stupid as our parents are. (reply to this comment) |
| | | | | | From jez Friday, April 04, 2008, 18:03 (Agree/Disagree?) Murder, not rape was not the main issue I was concerned with, as I'm fully aware of Berg's attitude towards rape. I too had the misfortune of being brought up in the child-raping cult and cursed as I am with a good memory (which extends back to age 3 and TSC), of course I remember the Mo letters! All I wanted to know was whether or not she was or had been in the cult. (reply to this comment) |
