Getting Out : Media Reports
TF on The Outsiders? | from Samuel - Wednesday, August 23, 2006 accessed 2721 times I saw a commercial for The Outsiders saying they were supposed to talk about Ricky Rodriguez on Tuesday (August 22nd) at 10:00. Does anyone know what happened? Was the show supposed to be this week? Did I miss it? If so, will there be a re-run, or maybe someone will offer a transcript? When I turned my TV on Tuesday night I found a The Outsiders show about Karr's trial and flight to LA from Thailand (Where they put him in BUSINESS class and let him drink CHAMPAGNE on the plane!). For God's sake, don't waste perfectly good money on a ticket for him, stuff the dirtbag in the luggage compartment or something! Then they talked about these two young blonde twin musicians called "Prussian Blue" that perform hate music for all white audiences. They've been raised by their mother to be white supremacists. They're very pretty (been compared to the Olsen twins), but the white supremacist movement uses them to try attract more youth. They salute Hitler on stage, placed a swastika on a tile floor and danced around it for a foreign television show, believe Hitler was a man with good ideas, and doubt that 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust (Now, where have I heard that before?). They showed their mother home schooling them. They were discussing the fall of Rome and she said the fall of Rome was caused by mixing of the races. WRONG! The Roman Empire fell because the Romans got comfortable and lazy. When the armies came, the Romans weren't ready to fight. Overtaxation was another problem. "Mixing of the races" was in the form of foreign slaves, who kept the empire running. They brought these groups out to concerts and festivals and showed them handing out free CD's with their pitch "This is music for white people." Give me a break! Country music is music for white people, theirs is music for stupid people! Thanks for letting me rant. If anyone knows what happened/is happening to Ricky's story, do tell. We can never let the sad saga of Ricky die. |

| from tuneman7 Wednesday, August 30, 2006 - 17:44 (Agree/Disagree?) Yesterday evening they re-aired their show from last year. It was on ABC around 9:30. They re-told the Rick story. Thanks! ~Don (reply to this comment)

| | | | | from kæli Thursday, August 24, 2006 - 04:51 (Agree/Disagree?) I saw that programme where Prussian Blue danced around the swastika. It was in a British documentary series called 'Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends,' that came out a few years ago. In each episode of the series, Louis Theroux spent time with a different fringe group in America. The one with Prussian Blue was called 'Louis and the Nazis'. However, more interestingly, there was an episode about Christian Evangelism, where Louis spent a few (rather creepy) hours with... THE FAMILY!!! I don't remember it very well, only that he visited some home in Texas. I will try and find a link for it. (reply to this comment)
| | | From vixen Thursday, August 24, 2006, 05:29 (Agree/Disagree?) I like Louis Theroux a lot. And yeah, I remember that episode where he tagged along with a family 'witnessing' team for an evening. Weird weekends, alright! The wrestling one was cool, and I thought the swinging one was hilarious. I also liked his 'When Louis met...' series (though it was less compelling due to the inferior subject matter - Celebrity is not half as interesting as everyday life, IMO), particularly the one about the Hamiltons. | | from sarafina Thursday, August 24, 2006 - 00:23 (Agree/Disagree?) I got a call from one of the research editors that we originally did the show with and he said that were postponing the show for a week or two, it isn’t a new show it was just a rerun of the interviews we did with them last year you can watch it on xfamily of you don’t want to wait here’s is the link. http://www.xfamily.org/index.php/ABC_News:_Tale_of_the_Tape The will replay the show still in a week or two. There was mention that It is possible that they want to update a few things and tie it in with the Documentary we did that just came out a few days ago in the UK which was it’s first airing. | From Samuel Thursday, August 24, 2006, 14:01 (Agree/Disagree?) Thanks one heck of a bunch for that, Sara. Is it going to actually be on "The Outsiders" or ABC Primetime or something else? Sorry to be an "Outsider" to the news in this case. : o ) I'm beginning to think maybe they showed the pictures of young Davidito and Berg on accident, because I distinctly remember it being in the commerical that afternoon. I wonder where Maria and Peter are today, and if they're having any 24 hour prayer vigils against the program. If I didn't know better, I'd have some prayers of my own for those sick freaks. Well, I gotta go to my Chemistry class. God Bless. Samuel Mercuri (reply to this comment) |
