    This article cost me greatly in terms of my family and my social circle, who totally freaked out when I gave an interview to Katy St Clair, for the Eastbay Express in Berkeley.

    I grew up on the infamous Telegraph avenue, a legendary recruiting location for not only the COG, but also the Krishnas, the Moonies, Reverend Lee's church, the People's Temple and countless other cults.

    It must have been hard to do this interview, but I do believe society needs to know the truth about these cults. Your experiences sound so much like mine and ours in the COG. I could understand exactly what you went through and having to deal with it now as as adult. Thanks for posting this.
