Hello there Sydney!
I read your story last night and started on a reply for you but I've so much to say that I didn't finish it!
I quit my job to begin, what I guess will be, a long mission to bring them down. I've started with taking up a 2 yr correspondence counselling course as I want to offer a consultancy service to counselling firms who are appraoched by us 'kids'. When we were looking for counsellers they would all cry in front of us or not believe us so I'm trying to make a difference there.
In answer to your question.......

Hmmm. I feel like I've said too much on the site today, but oh well, never mind. I think perhaps it would be wise for you to refrain from using terms like 'juicy' in reference to evidence pertaining to abuse. IMO, it comes across as bordering on sensationalism, and I think you'd agree that it's sensible to limit the instances where your evidence might be construed as having been embellished in any way. Also, I'm not sure if you realise, but TF's leadership keeps a pretty close eye on this site, so comments such as this...
'apparently you can get 50.000 in abuse compensation in cases like this in AUS as our legal system so soooo stupid and easy to Manipulate...'
...might well be used against you if you ever did take it to court.

Point taken and have removed that content... sorry... I am young and sometimes I get a little carried away with all this freedom of speech.
I don't think before opening my fat mouth when I’m pissed off. Although the juicy thing I was referring to was not to do with abuse. As I’m well aware of sensationalism of abuse and the problem with going to broad with your accusations and I’m even thinking the abuse thing is a dead horse here as it's hard to prove as other have found in the past…so...even though I'm having my rant about abuse on this site...it's not what I'll be using to take them down.

I kinda like the idea that they keep an eye on this site for some strange reason.
They'll know Joey before their miserable lives have ended!
When I saw Paul Hartington on the 60 mins thing here in Australia saying that Berg was wrong gave me a great deal of encouragement. He was admitting that bad things had happened. Even though he said that they didn't do it now, who cares. The fact that it happened before is reason enough to tear them down. Bit like that guy who was jailed for 3 1/2 yrs for saying that the holocaust didn't happen. He'd said that 15 odd years ago and still got slammed for it! I'd like to think they're falling apart and if not I want to pull them apart.
Money is certainly no motivation for me, I get mine from all the awesome people I meet that are the salt of the earth that have been irreprably damaged as a result of TF. I want a Haven for the sleepless. I want retribution for my brothers and sisters. Oddly enough my own hurt is no help at all in the motivation stakes! I could easily let it go if it were just for me but it's so much bigger than me. I figured that if I continue to do nothing then my inaction is basically saying that I accept what is going on still to this day. Especially as I have the stability and capacity, motivation and ability to do something about it!
Dunno how it's gonna happen but I'm throwing myself in the ring anyway!!!
Best bit is that Paul Hartington knows me already!! Hello Paul!

Yeah of course, Paul would say that of TV that he was sorry etc... But I know about rapes and inappropriate exposure to younger kids that was still happening in the late 90's
Moreover, your right money is not really the reason why I am doing this..., as the smart side of me knows I will never see a cent....I just like to daydream about it :-)
However, I agree with you... I mean my experiences alone are not motivation enough... and I cannot just walk away and pretend none of this is happening when I can help the situation by speaking up.
(It's not as if I want attention focused on me...like some family member tend to think about ex-members speaking out...in fact that’s been a key reason why I don't talk about my past or haven't yet done anything to help bring the family down as I'm so embarrassed and ashamed of having been brought up in the family... i squirm everytime an article comes out, everytime a 60mins thing gets played woried that someone will see through me and know I was in the family.)
So I've been silent
It has taken me four years of sitting on the fence to decide if I should keep on distancing myself from this or if I am going to do something. And in their own words
"A failure to report a crime is a crime"
It would also put a big smile on my face knowing they were gone and I would be so happy I would probably be able to stop taking my xanax everyday to function.
that would be nice....plus I still have siblings in the family, so if this is the only way they are ever going to wake up and see how evil this cause their pledging their lives to is...then so be it!
