Getting Out : Seeking Justice
FBI Investigation | from Shaka - Wednesday, March 30, 2005 accessed 1923 times Finally someone is listening. I just got back from my first interview with the FBI agent heading up this investigation. It was great to finally be able to sit down and tell my story and know that it was being taken seriously by someone who is actually going to try and help. This is not at all like anything that has been attempted before with TF; this is finally it. I was expecting good; she was great. I urge anyone who is still undecided about whether or not to send his or her statements to please do so. And everyone who lives in the San Diego or LA area who is interested in helping, please try and meet with her. Nothing you tell her will be given to the media or made public for any reason. PLEASE NOTE: I asked her if she didn't mind having her name and contact info made public on this site. She specifically said she did not want that info posted. The reason is that she and the members of her team will be hounded at work and home by media and possibly Family members. For this reason, if you want to contact her and do not want to go through Jim LaMattery, Daniel Roselle or any other median, send your letters or statements to the following address. I know it’s been posted before but for anyone who may have missed it, here it is: FBI 9797 Aero Drive San Diego, CA 92123 ATTN: Re: The Family International Any envelope or package labeled as such will be given directly to her or a member of her team. It will be held in the strictest of confidence so please do not hesitate to help out with information in any way you can, however small it may be. Every little bit helps a great deal. Thanks to everyone who has already sent in what they can. This can't be done without you. Thank you all. John Gill |

| | | from Cult Surfer Thursday, April 21, 2005 - 08:52 (Agree/Disagree?) It is 5:30 am April 21, 2005. I will have Claire Borowick's letter to me (written April 19th) on our website at http://lamatteryresource.org within a few hours. It will also contain my response to her. I believe that the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth of all of our experiences with The Family International will emerge from all of our discussions, arguments, emails, letters, and finally, testimony. I am asking that the letters not be cut and pasted for your own purposes, as I do not like restatements. Please, if you post them, leave them in their original forms. From today's date forward, I will be posting all the letters that I receive from Claire, Peter, and Maria on our site so that all who are interested can watch the progress of the investigations, and these three individual's responses to them. I am now fielding questions from second generation adults that are currently in The Family International who have expressed concern for their children and those who have not committed crimes against children. They now deserve my time and I will only post comments on this board where I feel it necessary. If any of you have specific questions, please use my email address to ask them, (jimlamattery@hotmail.com), and I will try my best to answer each of you. I have given all the ex-member boards time to ask, and I have answered, all the general questions asked of me so far. I will now try to respect the questions coming in from Family International members. Thank you for your patience in these matters. Jim LaMattery (reply to this comment)
| From hmmm? Thursday, April 21, 2005, 16:17 (Agree/Disagree?) So, Inspector Clouseau, have you been promoted from special agent with MI5 to the FBI?! "I have answered all questions posed to me by member boards, now I must dedicate my time to current members, as there is only so much of me to go around. Alas!" Sure, Jim, whatever. They certainly deserve you, as do the leaders of the Family. You're going to "respect the questions coming in from Family International members"? That'll be a change of pace. You certainly don't respect anyone here. "I will be posting all the letters that I receive from Claire, Peter, and Maria on our site so that all who are interested can watch the progress of the investigations." Are you insane? There is the brink of insanity and then there is the abyss. The personal correspondence between a middle-aged ex-cult member and its current leadership does not "an investigation" make. Do you actually think as result of your correspondence, Claire, Peter and Maria will investigate something? They might investigate you, but I assure you they won't "investigate" anything else. Because turning over abusers, especially the worst ones, would mean turning over themselves. That will happen a cold day in hell. Or were you referring to your own "investigation" back by the authority and law of the Republic of Jim. What you're doing only fuels their persecution complex, but at least, you're not here harassing us. So by all means head on off across the prairie after that windmill and harass them, while the authorities handle the actual "investigation." "Does your [uncle] bite?" "No." (Pets [uncle] and he bites.) "I thought you said your uncle doesn't bite." "I did, but that is not my [uncle]." (reply to this comment) |
| | From "Straange..Very straange" Thursday, April 21, 2005, 16:45 (Agree/Disagree?) "You were the Chief Inspector...before you went crazy?" "I arrest you all in the name of the leahw!" "This is a very serious matter and everyone is this reuoom is under the suspicions." Including everyone on this website! Cooperate or else! "Good evening commisonaire, how are you, your lovely wife and all the little commisionaires!" "Clouseau: And who are yeu ? Jarvis: I'm Jarvis, the butler. Clouseau: And what is it yeu deu..?" 'Clouseau: And who are yeu?' 'Jim: I'm Jim, the investigator.' "Clouseau: And what is it yeu deu...?' "Ahh... The old take off all your clothes ploy!" "Ahh...The old [cooperate with me or else] ploy!" "Clouseau: That man is crahzy! Nurse: We don't use that word around here, sir Clouseau: Then what word do yeu use? Nurse: Now now... Clouseau: That man is very now now!" "Leave that little Robin Hood boy alone!" "It won't be easy, that is why I have always failed where others have succeeded." "I was attacked by a wandering transvestite." Claire Borowick: 'I was attacked by a [wandering crusader].' "I might even be pehrseuded to ruhn for the Peublic Office." "I bet his little yellow brain is thinking of something right now!" "Clouseau: How could a blind man be a lookout? Dreyfus: How can an idiot be a policeman? Answer me that! Clouseau: Well, it's very simple...all you do is enlist and..... Dreyfus: Shut up!" "All I require is a telephone, my little bag of tools, and some privacy with which to work. That is all I require." Jim: 'All I require is a [website], my little bag of tools, and some [publicity] with which to work. That is all I require. ...oh, and the full cooperation of everyone on this website.' -the pink panther(reply to this comment) |
| | | | from NVC Thursday, March 31, 2005 - 14:39 (Agree/Disagree?) If we live in CA and are able to come to San Diego, can we schedule an interview in lieu of the affidavit? Or should I draft the affidavit first? I would be very willing to sit down for an interview. Can anyone guide me on how to make an affidavit? Tx. (reply to this comment)
| | | | | | | | | | | | | From Shaka Thursday, March 31, 2005, 21:33 (Agree/Disagree?) Yes, I agree. Your uncle is the one who set up my interview and took me to it. He already has a good working relationship with the agents involved so to all of you who are unsure about how to go about getting your information to them, I would suggest you go through him or at least talk to him first just for the sake of convenience. Of course like I said, if you don't want to go through a median that's fine too. (reply to this comment) |
| | from Nancy Thursday, March 31, 2005 - 13:53 (Agree/Disagree?) Wow! That is wonderful. So, I'm going to finally sit down this weekend and draft an affidavit of the abuse I suffered that I promised Daniel ages ago. John, if I don't send it on Monday, feel free to email and call me and make me feel like the slacker I am. I know how important it is. I've just got to make the time to get it done. I also think it's important because I suffered abuse within the US, so jurisdiction is there. (reply to this comment)
