No – In my life I have neither considered not attempted suicide I had suicidal thoughts before joining The Family (or before being brought into the group by my parent/s), but did not make an attempt. From NVC Monday, February 07, 2005, 12:25 (Agree/Disagree?) I was talking about the more recent general abuse (it would be nice to specify sexual, physical etc. as it tends to become a free for all words and loses its power) poll, but the remarks you make about the suicide seem appropriate as well. I noticed there was no option for having already attempted suicide, and I thought it may be because it gets too personal? Still it is anonymous so it may be ok. These last 2 polls are extremely important as we don't have other data at our disposal so far. Even in a small sample of a few hundreds these data become very meaningful for possible scholarly (or media) investigations.(reply to this comment)
