My mos in the army is Human Intelligence Collector/Linguist, so really I got the job mainly because of my degrees in that field. She's graduating next month and transfering to 82 Airborne for flight school, She's had to learn Arabic as her new language. She had the same degrees as you only hers was in Italian. First, nothing pisses off draft dodger dad like cult baby the soldier, and second, at least when they fuck with you in the military it's for something that makes sense in some context. Good luck Shaka! Heady times lay ahead. Be sure you are up to speed on all the rules of drinking, you know, "Beer before liquor, never been sicker" etc. Most normal people learn these in high school. My comrades in the AF couldn't believe I didn't know not to chase a 6 pack of Icehouse with a shot of tequila, but I digress. Keep your head down and kill anyone that tries to kill you. Keep your gun clean and your pack full of MREs. May your experiences give you character, but not make you insane. When you come back we'll watch some Jenna for old time's sake. Hope to see you soon. He actually got a pretty good job, Test equipment Operator/Maintainer. Just 4 years, after which he will request a transfer for flight school, as by the time he's done with the 38 weeks training he will have almost enough credits for his associates, if all goes well hopefully he will be assigned to the 82th Airborne, and become a pilot eventually. =)(reply to this comment)
